How it works
You can own shares of real places, trade them with other members, and earn part of every fee the platform takes. Here is how, in a few minutes of reading.
A place
Every asset is a real place: a bridge, a building, a park, a landmark. It carries where it is, what kind of place it is and a photograph. Nothing is added without the platform’s approval.
Browse the atlasA share
Each place is divided into 5,000 shares, so one share is 1/5,000 of it. That number can never be raised; it only falls when a holder burns shares, which removes them for good. Your shares are recorded on the blockchain in your own wallet, not in an account we could change.
RDA
RDA is the platform’s token. Prices are in RDA, fees are paid in RDA, and what your shares earn is paid in RDA. To buy, you need RDA in your wallet.
Getting started
You need a crypto wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby. Sign in with it: there is no password and no email. Looking around needs no sign-in at all.
To sell, make offers or add more wallets, also connect Telegram in Settings: it shows there is a person behind the account. Buying, bidding and accepting an offer need only the sign-in.
Open SettingsBuying
Buy shares listed in the Marketplace, or on a place’s own page, at the seller’s price. Your wallet first asks you to let the marketplace spend that RDA, unless you already allowed enough, then confirms the purchase. The shares reach your wallet in the same transaction.
Or make an offer on any place, at your price. The offer itself is a signature, not a payment: RDA leaves your wallet only if a holder accepts it. Taking an offer back is a transaction in your wallet.
Open the MarketplaceSelling
List your shares at your price from My Empire, for 1 to 90 days. They stay in your wallet until someone buys them; the buyer pays your price, and the fee comes out of what you receive. The first time you sell, your wallet asks once to let the marketplace move your shares; after that, a listing is only a signature and costs nothing.
You can withdraw a listing at any time, and it leaves the Marketplace at once. A buyer who had already opened it could still complete it until it expires, so list only at a price you are happy with. You can also accept an offer someone made on your place.
Open My EmpireRoyalties
Every sale pays a fee, and part of it is shared among everyone who holds shares: the same amount for each share, whichever place was sold. It is paid out once a day and builds up for you; claim it from My Empire, under Earnings, whenever you like.
Where the fees goYour wallets
One account can have several wallets, and My Empire adds up what they hold. To act as another of your wallets, switch to it in your wallet. A wallet that leaves an account has to wait before it can join a different one; Rules & limits on Transparency says how long.
When you sign in, we keep a cookie with a random number that marks this browser, and note which accounts sign in from it. It helps us notice one person running several accounts where a benefit is meant once per person. On its own it changes nothing about your account; a family sharing one computer is fine. It is not used for advertising, is not shared, and lasts 395 days.
Safety
The treasury, which holds the shares not yet sold, can only be moved when several signers sign together. Transparency shows who they are, where every fee goes and every rule the platform sets; the fees and the treasury are read straight from the blockchain, so you can check them yourself.
